The NPL Football Academy (NPLFA) is the sister programme of the Southern League Football Academy (SLFA).

Created in 2014, with five clubs and seventy-five students, the programme which was the first programme of this type to be FA sanctioned has seen enormous success in it’s short time in existence with currently 33o students enrolled at twelve clubs with the number expected to grow further from 2019 with a further five new clubs joining.

Overall since 2014, over 750 students have enrolled with many progressing on to higher education such as UK university, US scholarships or since 2017, their very own blended learning degree course in partnership with Loughborough College.

On the pitch there has been continued success year upon year with over fifty students being involved in first team fixtures with four of those progressing to the professional game.

The success of the NPLFA has seen the creation down south of the SLFA with eight clubs beginning their journey from September 2019.

Managed by nationally renowned training and management company Eliteform LTD, the NPLFA and SLFA sit together providing local youngsters at the clubs across 300 miles with an education on and off the pitch and an experience that is unrivalled elsewhere.
